Gertrude the Cow Gets in Trouble Somehow – Lisa Baker
Lisa Baker was an elementary music and Jr. High, and culinary arts teacher for 15 years, until the end of the 2021/2022 school year.
She and her husband retired early, sold their house, and are permanently traveling.
In 2020 she published two children’s books and has been (not)patiently waiting for her illustrator to finish book two of the first series. In the meantime, Lisa decided to take on the illustrations for her newest book, about to come out this month, “Mom, What’s That Sound?” She drew those pictures while traveling in Albania in December.
Lisa’s and her set out in August and have been to 10 countries. During their travels, she has come up with ideas for three more books.
