Josh Plato earned his philosophy degree from Lake Forest College before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, where he served for 14 years.
While enlisted, he would write grandiose stories for his Marines during training exercises that became a fun tradition for his platoon at the end of hard days to keep morale up.
When Josh left the Corps to spend more time with his family, he began writing some of these stories to create an irreverent veteran humor-based series to begin his self-publishing journey.
He has published two books on Amazon with plans to write in fiction and non-fiction.
