Major General Cheryn L. Fasano currently serves as the Commander of the Joint Transportation Reserve Unit (JTRU). She is the Mobilization Assistant to the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) headquartered at Scott Air Force Base, IL. The JTRU augments USTRANSCOM in providing air, land, & sea transportation for the Department of Defense (DOD) both in times of peace and war. She has an impressive resume but in this episode, we spend more time talking about life not only as a service member, but as a military spouse and what true leadership actually looks like.
