Startup nonprofits often struggle for years before gaining the funding needed to impact their cause? They often struggle to put together a board, secure donors, and rally volunteers to their cause. Well, we offer the Nonprofit Architect Blueprint Program that addresses these challenges resulting in clarity and actionable steps to help you build a stronger nonprofit.
I help nonprofits get their next $30,000 in donations.

I’m currently on move #50, yes that’s the real number. This includes 12 schools, 6 states, 5 foster homes, and being stationed overseas. We were always on the move. Certainly not anyone’s ideal conditions for growing up. It was chaotic. I never knew if food would be on the table, who I would come home to, or where I would sleep. There was always this uneasiness. Looking back there was always someone willing to help our family even if it was just to listen. I never forgot that kindness.
When the dust finally settled, I found myself in the Navy with a wife and two children living in Oklahoma City of all places. It was the first time I had ever felt “home.” I wasn’t quite sure what the feeling was at first, but it felt good. I was finally in a place where I could contribute but I wasn’t sure what to do or how to be part of the community.
I asked a close friend from church how I should proceed. He set up a meeting at a networking group downtown. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I showed up anyway. That first conversation led to building a memorial, authoring my first book, joining a group dedicated to supporting those around them, becoming a S.Y.M.B.I.S. facilitator, Reboot Combat Recovery Instructor, and an ordained minister. I discovered that simply showing up, willing to contribute is the foundation for a great many things.
I’m the head podcaster at the Nonprofit Architect: Helping you build a stronger nonprofit. Here we interview nonprofit and business leaders as they share from their experience. Each interview provides insight into the methods they used to build their vision. I join in the conversation with my experience from being the Vice President of Books by Vets; a board member at the S.H.I.N.E. foundation; a benefactor; a volunteer with 1,500+ hours; fundraiser with more than $500,000 raised; event coordinator; and published author.
My show is focused on speaking directly to the startup nonprofit. My listeners are founders, fundraisers, board members, volunteers, and executive directors. Each episode is packed with content, anecdotes, and actionable steps dedicated to building stronger nonprofits. I help my clients design their blueprint, lay a solid foundation, and build their vision. If you’re trying to grow a nonprofit, this is for you. If you struggle with clarity, motivation or next steps, this is for you.
Respectfully,
