Healing can take many forms, and after working with Stephanie through the Veteran Unchained Anthologies, Gina Alderman asked Stephanie to lead a jewelry-making session for the Rugged Warrior Healing Coalition Retreat. Making jewelry has helped Stephanie heal from past trauma.
Stephanie served in the Army Reserves. She separated due to MST (Military Sexual Trauma) and after separation found that working with her hands creating beauty helped her deal with the past. As well as making jewelry, Stephanie is currently studying to become an ordained minister. She hopes to use her ministry as an outreach to other women who have survived sexual trauma.
