I met Anna at Tennessee VFW State Commander Brian Walker’s event at the Collierville, TN Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5066. Anna Lynn Ferris lives in Tennessee and has been performing all her life, and when she reached out to me to come on again it was for a personal reason and
lesson.
Anna’s sister died in late 2022 and she wrote “First and Last” in her memory. I felt this conversation was something that we all to could learn from as grief in an emotion that we a Veterans feel keenly in our lives. I hope that “First and Last” will give you comfort as it gave Anna and her family comfort.
